Peppin Privacy Policy
Peppin is a general-purpose habit-tracking and accountability service. This Privacy Policy explains how Enterprise Strategy Solutions LLC, doing business as Peppin (“Peppin,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use Peppin.
You choose what habits, goals, messages, photos, and other information to provide.
Peppin does not require users to provide health information to use its general habit-tracking features.
1. Information We Collect
We organize the information we collect into the categories below.

- schedule;
- reminders;
- check-in times;
- completion history.
- messages;
- commands;
- replies;
- conversation context.
- images and files you voluntarily send to Peppin;

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. We may receive transaction metadata such as subscription status, identifier, amount and payment status, but we do not receive full payment-card numbers.
2. Information You Choose to Include
Because Peppin lets you describe habits and goals in your own words, you may voluntarily include information that is sensitive or relates to topics such as health, fitness, nutrition, medication routines, sleep, mental wellness, finances, relationships, or other personal matters.
Peppin does not require this information for its general habit-tracking service.
Peppin does not require or intentionally solicit health information as part of its general habit-tracking experience, but users may voluntarily include it in content they provide.
If you choose to provide such information, we process it as part of the content you submit and for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
3. How We Use Information
We may use information to:
- provide the Service;
- respond to messages;
- remember your habits;
- schedule reminders;
- provide accountability;
- track completion;
- manage rewards;
- grow and customize your Peppin;
- personalize the experience;
- operate group challenges;
- analyze photos you voluntarily submit;
- provide support;
- troubleshoot;
- maintain security;
- detect abuse and fraud;
- improve product functionality;
- analyze usage;
- comply with law;
- enforce our Terms;
- communicate with you.
4. AI Processing
Peppin uses AI to understand the messages, photos and voice notes you send, to work out what to record, and to write its replies.
To do this, content you send to Peppin is processed by a third-party AI provider acting on our behalf. We currently use Google's Gemini models. Content is sent to an AI provider only to operate the features you use.
Other service providers support hosting, databases, message delivery and payments. They process information on our instructions and under contractual restrictions.
5. Model Training and Product Improvement
Peppin does not use private conversation content to train general-purpose AI models without your permission.
We do review how Peppin is performing — for example, whether reminders are landing, whether check-ins are being recognized correctly, and where the Service is failing — so that we can fix problems and improve the product.
Where applicable law requires additional consent for a particular use of your information, we will request it.
6. Human Access
Most content processing may be automated.
In limited circumstances, authorized personnel or service providers may access information where reasonably necessary for customer support, debugging, security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, quality assurance, or protecting Peppin and its users.
Access is limited by role and business need, and manual access to conversation content is logged with a reason.
7. How We Share Information
Service providers
Companies that help us provide hosting, AI processing, messaging, databases, analytics, payments, support, and security.
Legal and safety
We may disclose information where reasonably necessary to respond to lawful requests, enforce rights, investigate abuse, protect people, or protect Peppin.
Corporate events
Information may be transferred in connection with an acquisition, merger, financing, restructuring, asset sale, or due diligence.
User-directed sharing
We share information where you direct Peppin to share it.
We do not otherwise disclose your information to third parties for their own independent purposes.
8. Sale and Advertising
Peppin does not sell the contents of your private conversations.
We do not use the content of your conversations with Peppin, including any health-related information you choose to share, for advertising.
Our marketing website, peppin.ai, uses the Meta Pixel to measure how people find Peppin and how our advertising performs. The Peppin conversation and the Peppin iMessage app do not use it.
We use analytics services to understand how the Service is used. If we ever introduce a practice that qualifies as selling or sharing personal information under applicable state law, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide the opt-out required by that law.
9. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Peppin, maintain personalization and history requested by users, protect security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain legitimate business records.
When information is no longer reasonably necessary, we may delete, aggregate, or de-identify it, subject to legal, backup, security, and technical requirements.
10. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information.
No security system is perfect, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to:
- access your information;
- delete it;
- correct it;
- export it;
- opt out of certain processing;
- object to processing;
- restrict processing;
- withdraw consent where processing is consent-based.

We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.
12. Account Deletion
You can delete your Peppin data at any time by texting Peppin “delete my account” or “reset”. Peppin explains what will be removed and asks you to confirm by replying “reset” within 10 minutes. This cannot be undone.
Confirming permanently deletes, subject to the exceptions below, your:
- habits, goals and check-ins;
- logged meals, activity, sleep, weight and other entries, including entries created from photos;
- reminders;
- conversation history held by Peppin;
- what Peppin remembers about you, including personalization;
- progress, rewards and virtual items;
- connected integrations.
After a reset, Peppin keeps your phone number and a minimal account record so that you can keep texting Peppin. To have your account deleted entirely, including your phone number, email team@peppin.ai with the phone number you use with Peppin.
Deleting your data does not cancel a paid subscription. Cancel first using the link in your Stripe receipt email.
Messages already in your own Messages app are not affected. Some records may remain where we are legally permitted or required to keep them, such as payment records, and copies may persist briefly in backups before they expire on their normal schedule.
13. Children
Peppin is intended for adults aged 18 and older.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has provided us with personal information, contact team@peppin.ai and we will delete it.
14. International Users
Information may be processed in countries other than where you live.
Where required, we use appropriate legal mechanisms for international transfers.
15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy, and we maintain a version history.
Material changes will receive appropriate notice where required by law.
